New Delhi, Mar 1 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi will take a break from the political battlefield to spend some quality time with his grandmother this Holi weekend.

Rahul has informed on Twitter that he is eager to unite with his grandmother and also called the latter "kindest soul".

His tweet reads, " My Nani is 93. She’s the kindest soul ever. This Holi weekend, I’m going to surprise her! I can’t wait to give her a hug.... #HappyHoli to all of you. Have a joyful celebration.."

Rahul's grandmother, Paola Maino, lives in Italy.

Paola Maino is the mother of former Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
