Rose Valley: ED interrogates company's top official

Kolkata, Dec 17 (IBNS): Taking forward the ongoing probe into Rose Valley chit fund scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday interrogated the company's top official Seema Singh, sources said.
According to sources, after receiving summon from the probe agency, Seema Singh, who was a close-aid of Rose Valley Group of Companies' chairman Gautam Kundu, arrived at the ED's office at CGO Complex in Kolkata's Salt Lake area around 10:15 am. on Thursday.
 
"Seema Singh was quizzed for nearly two hours in connection with Rose Valley chit fund scam and her statement was recorded. She could be call again for interrogation in future," one ED official told IBNS.
 
The central probe agency arrested Rose Valley Group of Companies' chairman Gautam Kundu on Mar 25 and he is in judicial custody.
 
Meanwhile, a division bench comprising of Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh and Justice R. K. Agarwal in the Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected Gautam Kundu's bail petition.
