Silicon Valley Bank collapse: Minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar to meet Indian Startups

New Delhi: Union Minister for Electronics and Technology Rajiv Chandrasekhar on Sunday said that he will meet with Indian Startups to understand the impact on them due to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and how the government can help them.

In a tweet, he said, "The @SVB_Financial closure is certainly disrupting startups across world .Startups are an imp part of #NewIndia Economy. I will meet wth Indian Startups this week to understand impact on thm n how @narendramodi govt can help durng this crisis."

However, he said the collapse of the SVB in the US is in sharp contrast with India's stable and strong financial sector.

"The @SVB_Financial collapse in US sharp contrast wth India's stable n strong financial sector - which PM @narendramodi ji, has rebuilt from its Crony NPA ridden destructn durng Cong #LostDecade to a strong, growng catalyst of #NewIndia Economy tdy," he tweeted.
