Sixth and last phase of WB Assembly poll on Thursday

Kolkata, May 3 (IBNS) In the sixth and final phase of the Assembly election in West Bengal, polling in 25 constituencies will take place on Thursday when the future of 170 candidates, including 18 female candidates, will be decided.
On May 5, polling will be held for 16 seats in Purba Medinipur and nine in Coochbehar districts.
 
The total number of registered voters is 58,04,019, including 68 from the third gender.
 
Both BJP and TMC are contesting in all 25 seats, the CPI-M in eight seats and the Congress Party in four seats.
 
The largest assembly constituencies in this phase are Dinhata (by number of voters) and Sitalkuchi (by area). Mekliganj is the smallest constituency.
 
Prior to this five rounds of polling has taken place for the 294-seat West Bengal Assembly.
