Swachhta Abhiyan has reached Pakistan to cleanse terrorists: Yogi Adityanath
Amethi, Mar 3 (UNI) Raising the slogan 'Modi hai to Mumkin Hai,' Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday claimed that the Swachhta Abhiyan, which had cleaned the country, has now reached Pakistan, to wipe out terrorists from there.
"Since independence, no leader had paid attention to Kumbh. But, beliefs should always be respected. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kumbh was brought under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA).
'He is the first Prime Minister to wash the feet of sanitation workers. SBA has now been extended to Pakistan, where terror camps are being eliminated," said Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a gathering at Korba, in the presence of PM Modi and other dignitaries.
While attacking the Gandhi family and appreciating Union Minister Smriti Irani, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, "One family, which dominated all these areas earlier, were never concerned about the poor. Smriti Irani ji has done much more legwork in Amethi than Rahul Gandhi."
"Amethi was a VVIP area. Cooking gas never reached the poor households, but things have changed only because of Modi ji. Over 78,000 households in Rae Bareli have also got free electricity, because of PM Modi", Mr Adityanath claimed.
"UP is now progressing in all spheres. We have Jan Dhan account for the poor, farmers, and all citizens. The different schemes started by the Prime Minister, are benefiting the entire state. It's a matter of pride for everyone.
"We had terror attacks earlier. Keeping in mind the February 14 attack, Mr Modi declared to give it back to the terror groups and maintain the pride of the soldiers," he added.
"We are thankful to the Prime Minister for giving UP a Defence corridor. Now, 7.5 lakh rifles will be made available to our soldiers through this Korba factory. The impossible is now possible, only because of PM Modi," the Uttar Pradesh CM said.
"Terror attacks happened earlier too. But, surgical strikes in Myanmar and after Uri has showed that this is a new India. Northeast is peaceful now,' he added.
He said 73,000 farmers in Amethi and 1.24 lakh farmers in Rae Bareli benefited from Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, launched by the Prime Minister from Gorakhpur, on February 24.
