Thank you Delhi for standing up to protect the soul of India: Prashant Kishor

| @indiablooms | Feb 11, 2020, at 03:50 pm

New Delhi/IBNS: Prashant Kishor, the political strategist who was recently sacked by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar from the Janata Dal United,  thanked people of Delhi for the result in the Assembly polls where Aam Aadmi Party returned to power for the third consecutive term.

From Prashat's tweet, it seems that he linked AAP's victory to the protests against the amended citizenship law.

"Thank you Delhi for standing up to protect the soul of India!" Kishor tweeted.

The AAP is currently ahead in 63 seats, four short from its previous victory margin in 2015. It had clinched 67 seats that time.

The BJP is leading seven seats, four more than its 2015 tally.

The Congress once again failed to win a single seat.
