Uttar Pradesh: Man makes 'indecent' remark against Yogi Adityanath, arrested

Bhadohi: One person was arrested after an indecent comment was made against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media in Shahr Kotwali area of Bhadohi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Singh, a police officer said here.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Bharati said that Muslim Ansari, a resident of Kurauna under Aurai police station, made an indecent comment against the CM on the Whatsapp group of Bhadohi Nagar Palika Parishad.

He said that taking suo moto cognizance Inspector Ajay Singh lodged a case against the group admin Shahabuddin Ansari and Muslim Ansari under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology (IT) Act.

"The group admin Shahbuddin Ansari has been arrested and raids are being conducted to nab Muslim ansari," he said.
