Uttar Pradesh: Youth shot at in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur: A 28-year-old youth was shot at by unidentified persons in Kotwali area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said here on Monday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar Meena said that Shoaib was shot by unidentified miscreants in Babujai locality late on Sunday night.

"Shoaib, who sustained bullet injury in his head, was taken to the medical college from where he was referred to Bareilly in a serious condition," he said.

He said that information was being collected from the family members of Shoaib about the incident.

"Four teams have been constituted to identify and arrest the miscreants," he said.
