Uttarakhand : Harish Rawat holds cabinet meeting hours after court puts him back on CM's chair
The CM said on Friday that all these decision will be put on fast track for implementation.
However, Governor KK Paul has questioned Rawat's right to call a cabinet meeting because of the current "it's complicated" political status of the state.
The Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday declared that Rawat had incorrectly been removed last month by the centre in a misuse of President's rule and asked him to get back to work.
The Centre, however, appealed to the Supreme Court on Friday against the order, claiming that President's rule was necessary because Rawat has lost his majority in the legislature following desertion by nine Congress legislators and hence heads a minority government.
