Deepika has Bengali connect

Mumbai, June 1 (IBNS): Deepika Padukone's first ever brand endorsement was PC Chandra Jewellers. The actress set foot in the industry with the jewellery brand that is a Bengali brand.
She has now completed a full circle with her recent hit Piku where she plays a Bengali girl.

She was chosen for the brand endorsement because they felt that her eyes were Bengali.

Deepika has been loved as a Bengali girl in Piku and it also 
​being​
 called as one of Deepika’s best performances.  

The talented actress has played diverse roles as a South Indian in Chennai Express, a Goanese girl in Finding Fanny and now a Bengali in Piku.

She can easily carry off different kinds of characters and she has been receiving accolades for her performance.
