Dilwale, Bajirao Mastani clash on the BO

Mumbai, Dec 18 (IBNS): The Indian Box Office is witnessing a powerful clash as superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" and Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone's "Bajirao Mastani" hit the silver screen on Friday.

Shah Rukh Khan tweeted :"It’s great to wake up to Dilwaleday. Thank you all for so much love."

The Rohit Shetty- directed film also features Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

The film is again seeing the union between Bollywood's loved couple Kajol and SRK.

They were last seen in My Name Is Khan in 2010.

Produced and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani   narrates the story of the Maratha warrior  Bajirao I of the Maratha Empire and his second wife Mastani.

The film features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra plays Bajirao's first wife Kashibai.
