Mumbai/IBNS: Hanuman Ansh, a film based on the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, has maintained its strong run at the box office and crossed the Rs 300 crore mark globally, media reports said.

According to Sacnilk, the film has grossed Rs 281.38 crore in India, with its net collection standing at Rs 238.30 crore so far.

The film has achieved the milestone in 42 days since its release.

From a slim opening to a box office success

Hanuman Ansh opened to a modest Rs 10 lakh but gradually gained momentum at the box office.

The film has since emerged as one of the sleeper hits of 2026, with its sustained theatrical run helping it cross the Rs 300 crore mark globally.

Film on Neem Karoli Baba

The film explores the life and spiritual legacy of Neem Karoli Baba, a revered Indian spiritual figure whose teachings have attracted followers in India and abroad.

Its strong box office performance has brought renewed attention to films centred on spirituality and lesser-known real-life personalities.

The film begins with his childhood as Lakshminarayan and traces his transformation into a revered spiritual figure.

The story follows young Lakshminarayan as he searches for answers to questions surrounding life, death and suffering.

His quest takes him across North India and eventually leads to his emergence as Neem Karoli Baba.
