Mumbai, Nov 12 (IBNS): Actress Preity Zinta is remembering late director Yash Chopra on the completion of the latter's Hindi film Veer Zaara, which on Monday completed 14 years since its release.

Preity, who played the lead role in the film, was seen along with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Veer Zaara.

In a tweet, the actress said: "Remembering Yash Uncle today as it’s #14YearsOfVeerZaara. I feel so fortunate to be part of this timeless, decent & full of heart film! Thank you @iamsrk, #RaniMukerji & the entire team for this unforgettable experience."

In the film, Shah Rukh had played the role of an Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot while Preity was sketched as a Pakistani girl.

Acting legend Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actress Hema Malini had played cameos in the film.
