Mumbai/IBNS: The makers of Pushpa franchise shared a 20-second-long video on Wednesday featuring Allu Arjun indicating the first look of the sequel to the blockbuster film that created a tsunami at the box office.

It was already made clear that Pushpa: The Rise will get a sequel.

The film's lead star, Allu Arjun, who delivered a power-packed performance, is returning with the second instalment of the movie sooner than the fans expected.

The glimpses of the video had a voice-over referring to the character of Pushpa Raj escaping from Tirupati jail.

The video mentions the hunt as makers plan a grand reveal for the story on  April 7 which is one day prior to Allu's birthday.

Pushpa: The Rule will also feature actress Rashmika Mandanna.
