Australia beat Pakistan by 41 runs
Taunton, June 12 (IBNS): Defending champions Australia beat Pakistan by 41 runs in the Cricket World Cup match here on Wednesday evening.
Batting first, Australia scored 302 riding on Warner's 107 and captain Finch's 82.
Mohammad Amir of Pakistan picked up five wickets conceding just 30 runs.
Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq (53), Hafeez (46), captain Sarfaraz Ahmed (40) and Wahab Riaz (45) played their part but it was not enough.
Pakistan were all out for 266.
India will face Pakistan on June 16.
