Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan escapes helicopter crash

Dhaka, Sept 16 (IBNS): Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan escaped a helicopter crash by chance as the mishap occurred after dropping him in the country's Cox's Bazar area on Friday.

One person was killed in the crash.

Several others were injured in the mishap, reports said.

The helicopter belonged to Meghna Aviation Limited, reports said.

While speaking to Prothom Alo, Shakib said, "I am fine. I was busy shooting when it happened ... don't know much about it."


The deceased person was identified as Shah Alam.
