DKS: Yubrani Banerjee enters the pre quarter final
Kolkata, Jan 16 (IBNS): Wild card local entrant Yubrani Banerjee enters the pre quarter final of the Girls Singles at the ongoing DKS ITF JUNIORS 2017, been held at the red clay courts of the Dakshin Kalikata Sansad.
Banerjee, who reached the quarter finals here last year did not sweat much to brush Sharannya Gaware aside by a straight 6-4,6-4 in 1hr 24mins.
Another wild card from Bengal, Arghya Das in Boys Singles did not live up to the expectations, as he went down fighting against Nikit Reddy from USA by 5-7,3-6.
