FIFA World Cup: England beat Sweden to reach semi-finals

Samara, July 7 (IBNS): England reached the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2018 by defeating Sweden at the Samara Arena here on Saturday.

England won the quarter-final match 2-0.

The two goals for England were scored by Harry Maguire and Dele Alli at the 30th and 58th minutes of the match.

Eventually Sweden crashed out of the tournament.

In the semi-final match, England will play against the winner of the Russia-Croatia match, which will kickoff at 11.30 IST on Saturday.
