Gayle completes 10,000 runs in T20

Rajkot, Apr 19 (IBNS): West Indies batsman Chris Gayle, known for his entertaining and hard-hitting batting, has completed 10,000 T20 runs.

He is the only batsman in the world to touch the milestone.

It occurred during an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions on Tuesday.

He touched the feat after scoring 3 runs in the match.

He went on to score 77 runs off 38 balls.

The West Indian hammered five boundaries and seven sixes which ultimately helped RCB beat Gujarat by 21 runs.

Gayle tweeted: "Thanks, Rajkot. #10000CG."
