India beat Bangladesh by six wickets in Colombo

Colombo, Mar 8 (IBNS): India defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in a T20I on the ongoing tri-series in Colombo on Thursday.

Chasing a target of 140, India reached home with more than an over to spare.

Continuing his good form, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan scored 55 runs from 43 balls. He was the top scorer in the match.

Bangladesh's Rubel Hossain picked up two wickets.

Earlier Bangladesh scored 139/8 in 20 overs.

Liton Das was the highest scorer for Bangladesh with 34 runs.

Sabir Rahman scored 30 from 26 balls lower down the order.

Jaydev Unadkat had the best bowling figure for India with 3/38 in four overs.
