India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets, level series 1-1

Harare, June 20 (IBNS): India leveled the series against Zimbabwe by beating the home side by 10 wickets in the second T20 Internationals here on Monday.

Indian bowlers maintained a tight spell of bowling and restricted Zimbabwe at 99 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs and the Men in Blue reached 103 runs by losing no wicket. India chased down the target with 41 balls to spare.

Mandeep Singh (52*), hitting six boundaries and six, and other Indian opener Lokesh Rahul  (47*) , hammering two boundaries and two sixes, to guide India to victory.

Zimbabwe bowlers could not pick up a single wicket to disturb the Indian batting line up.

Earlier, riding on   Barinder Sran's strong performance with the ball where he picked up four wickets by giving away 10 runs in his debut match, India restricted Zimbabwe at 99.Bumrah took three wickets by giving away 11 runs in his four overs.

India leveled the series 1-1.
