India's Apurvi Chandela wins gold in 10-metre air rifle event

New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS): India shot gold in the  ISSF World Cup 2019 as Apurvi Chandela won the yellow medal in the women's 10-metre air rifle event at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.

She clinched the medal by scoring 252.9 points in the final.

She had reached the final of the event by finishing in the fourth position in the Qualifying round with 629.3 points. 

Zhao Ruozhu of China stood second with 251.8 points.
