He hit six boundaries and eight huge sixes in his knock.
Chris Gayle gave a good start to the run chase to RCB but before he could capitalise on the start he got out for 27.
Hyderabad's Karn Sharma shined with the ball and picked up Gayle early.
He took three wickets by giving away 17 runs in his four overs.
Earlier, riding on Australian batsman David Warner's 61, Hyderabad reached 155 for six in 20 overs.
Mitchell Starc and Varun Aaron picked up two wickets for RCB.
