IPL: Delhi Daredevils beat CSK by 34 runs
New Delhi, May 19 (IBNS): Delhi Daredevils stung Chennai Super Kings as they defeated the former IPL champions by 34 runs in a group stage clash here on Friday.
Delhi batted first to post 162 runs for the loss of five wickets and then restricted CSK at 128 runs for six wickets in 20 overs.
Rishabh Pant (38), Shankar (36) and Harshal Patel (36) contributed some runs with their willow.
Lungi Ngidi picked up two wickets for CSK.
Despite efforts by Rayudu(50) and Ravindra Jadeja (27), CSK could not manage to reach the wining target.
Rayudu hit four boundaries and four sixes but his dismissal destroyed CSK's hopes in the match.
Trent Boult and Amit Mishra picked up two wickets in the clash.
