IPL Governing Council to meet today
New Delhi, Dec 6 (IBNS): To chart out the auction modalities of the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), the tournament's Governing Council will meet at the national capital on Wednesday.
The franchise representatives and the Supreme Court-appointed CoA members are expected to be present at the meeting.
As per previous decision, all players will be released by the franchises for a fresh bidding in 2018.
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, teams banned till 2017 over match-fixing scandal, will return to IPL from 2018.
Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions, which played in places of CSK and RR, will not feature in the 11th edition of the tournament.
