IPL: Gujarat Lions beat Mumbai Indians by 3 wickets

Mumbai, Apr 16 (IBNS): Riding on Aaron Finch's unbeaten 67, Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Lions by three wickets in a thrilling IPL encounter here on Saturday.

Restricting Mumbai at 143 for eight, Gujarat reached 147 runs by losing seven wickets in a last ball encounter.

Finch hammered seven boundaries and a six in his knock.

Skipper Suresh Raina contributed 27 runs with his willow.

Mitchell McClenaghan bowled brilliantly for Mumbai as picked up four wickets by giving away 21 runs in his four overs to keep Gujarat under pressure.

Earlier, Mumbai posted 143 at the scoreboard.

Parthiv Patel  top scored with his 34 runs.

He hit two boundaries and two sixes in his knock.
