IPL Playoffs: Kolkata Knight Riders restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to 128/7 in 20 overs

Bangalore, May 17 (IBNS): With a tight bowling performance, Kolkata Knight Riders restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to only 128/7 in 20 overs in the eliminator match of the playoffs in the tenth edition of Indian Premier League, on Wednesday.

Losing the toss, SRH came out to bat but hardly could dominate the KKR bowling and finished the innings with slightly higher than six runs per over.

The skipper David Warner and Kane Williamson were the top scorers for the Sunrisers with 37 and 24 respectively.

Vijay Shankar played some explosive shots to score 22 from 17 balls but was a victim to KKR fast bowler Coulter-Nile.

Nathan Coulter-Nile had the best bowling figure for KKR with 3/20 in four overs while Umesh Yadav picked up couple of wickets.

The match is currently affected by the rain at the innings break.
