Jammu: Inter-Panchayat Volleyball, Kabaddi events inaugurated

Jammu/IBNS: Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma inaugurated Sansad Khel Samprada at Khel Gaon, Nagrota, Jammu on Wednesday.

The three-day Inter-Panchayat event in the sporting disciplines of Volleyball, Kabaddi and Tug of War is being organised by District Administration of Jammu in association with District Youth Services and Sports Office, Jammu.

Jugal Kishore was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while District Development Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg was the guest of honour.

Meanwhile, in the inaugural Kabaddi match, Panchayat Nagrota defeated Panchayat Dhok Wazirian in an easy contest by 9 points, while in the inaugural Volleyball match, Jagti Panchayat got the better of Khanpur 2-0 sets by (25-09, 25-12).

On the occasion, the chief guest distributed sports kits among various panchayats for better use of youth.
