Kieron Pollard fined for showing dissent at an umpire's decision during IPL final

Hyderabad, May 13 (IBNS): Kieron Pollard, the Mumbai Indians all-rounder, was fined 25% of his match fee for showing dissent at an Umpire’s decision during the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 Final in Hyderabad. 

Pollard admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.8 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials and accepted the sanction.

For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding, the IPL said in a statement.

Mumbai Indians beat Chennai SUper Kings by 1 run to lift the IPL for the fourth time in the history of the tournament.
