Leander- Andre Begemann defeated in ATP Winston-Salem Open final

Winston-salem, Aug 28 (IBNS): Squandering five match points in the second set, Indian Tennis star Lenader Paes and his doubles partner Germany's Andre Begemann were defeated in the final of the ATP Winston-Salem Open here.

The Indo-German pair was defeated byGuillermo Garcia-Lopez and Henri Kontinen by 4-6, 7-6(6), 10-8.

This was Leander's first tournament since participating in the Rio Olympics.

Paes tweeted: "So close today but some of Life's lessons are learnt through hardships!!Good week making the Finals,thanks partner."
