Mamata Banerjee congratulates Indian Kabaddi team
Kolkata, Oct 22 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee joined the rest of the nation in congratulating the Indian Kabaddi team after they clinched the World Cup on Saturday.
Banerjee tweeted: "Many congratulations to Team India on winning the Kabaddi World Cup. The nation is so proud of you all."
Defeating arch rivals Iran in the Kabaddi World Cup, host India lifted the silverware here on Saturday.
India won the mega final 38-29.
