Vilarreal (Spain), May 30 (IBNS): Villarreal on Tuesday confirmed transfer of defender Mateo Musacchio to soccer giant AC Milan.

Mateo Musacchio will play for the Italian side next season.

"The centre back from Rosario joined the Yellows reserves in the 2009/10 season, and from there he was moved up to the Submarine first team," read the  Villarreal  website.

"Mateo Pablo Musacchio (Rosario, 26th August 1990) joined River when he was nine years old and progressed through the ranks of the 'millonario' club until, at just 15 years old, he became the youngest player in history to make his debut in Argentina's top flight," read the club website.
