Nagpur: Police on duty for T20I game dies of cardiac arrest
Nagpur, Nov 10 (UNI) An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) deployed on security duty for the third T20 International cricket match to be played between India and Bangladesh here on Sunday died following a cardiac arrest, police said.
The deceased, identified as Madar Sheikh(50), working at police headquarters, was on duty when he suffered a cardiac arrest at around 12.15 hrs, said police.
Mr Sheikh was sitting on a chair and suddenly fell on the ground unconsious. He was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, said police adding that a case of accidental death has been registered at Sonegaon Police station.
