Pakistan-Australia series trophy shape triggers online reactions

Dubai, Oct 24 (IBNS): The shape of an international cricket trophy has triggered a storm on the social media.

The trophy concerned is the T20 Series title to be played between Australia and Pakistan in Abu Dhabi from Oct 24.

The trophy was unveiled on Sunday.

And its shape, with wickets at the bottom and a biscuit at the top, has earned attention of cricket lovers.

The Pakistan Cricket Board recently shared the image of the trophy and posted: "Brighto presents TUC Cup 2018 #PAKvAUS T20I series trophy unveiling ceremony."

Meanwhile, cricket lovers including the ICC reacted on the shape of the trophy.

The International Cricket Council tweeted: "Giving taking the biscuit a whole new meaning!."

Another Aatif Nawaz said: "This is not photoshop. Repeat: This is not photoshop! This is an actual cricket trophy."

One Charlie Reynolds said: "Call off the competition - sport has its greatest ever trophy."
