PV Sindhu dedicates Korean Open title victory to PM Modi

New Delhi, Sept 17 (IBNS): Indian badminton star PV Sindhu on Sunday dedicated his Korea Open Super Series title victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he celebrated his birthday.

Modi turned 67.

Sindhu beat world champion Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the final to clinch the women's singles title at the Korea Open Superseries on Sunday.

She tweeted: "I dedicate this Victory for our beloved Prime Minister Shri Modiji on his Birthday for his untiring and self less services to our Country."

Modi earlier congratulated the athlete for the victory.

The Prime Minister said, "Congratulations to P V Sindhu on emerging victorious in the Korea Open Super Series. India is immensely proud of her accomplishment."
