Sania-Martina win Brisbane International doubles title

Brisbane, Jan 9 (IBNS) Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis won the Brisbane International doubles title here on Saturday.

The Indo-Swiss pair defeated  German wildcards Angelique Kerber and Andrea Petkovic  7-5 6-1 in straight sets.

After this victory, Sania and Martina extended their streak to 26 matches.

This was their 10th title victory together.

"#Hingis/#Mirza with their hardware! Their 10th tournament title together #BrisbaneTennis,"  the official Twitter account of Brisbane International said.
