Second T20I: Kohli and Rohit score fifties to take India's score to 184
Melbourne, Jan 29 (IBNS) Batting first, India posted a decent 184 runs for the loss of 3 wickets against Australia here on Friday.
After Australian captain Aaron Finch won the toss and decided to field first, the Indian openers had a quiet start but it all changed in the 3rd over of the match as Rohit Sharma carted John Hastings for a four and Shikhar Dhawan bludgeoned him for a massive six.
The Indian openers added 97 runs for the opening wickets before Dhawan departed for a well made 42 off 32 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.
Sharma however struck to the crease and completed a 37 ball 50 but was eventually run-out for 60 runs 10 balls later. His innings comprised of 5 fours and 2 sixes.
Indian's in-form man, Virat Kohli too toyed with the Aussie attack as he made a 29 ball 50.

For Australia, Glenn Maxwell and Jason Tye picked up a wicket each.
Tye and 2 other Australians, Scott Boland and Nathan Lyon made their debut today.
