Serena wins Rome title

Rome, May 18 (IBNS): American Tennis icon Serena Williams beat Italy's Sara Errani in the final to lift the trophy at the Rome Masters here on Sunday.

Moving to the Frech Open on a strong note and as a clear favourite, Serena beat her opponent by   6-3, 6-0 margin.

The world number one became the first player so far this year to win three WTA titles.

This was also Serena's 60th  WTA title.
