Paris, Aug 26 (IBNS): Ex-France footballer Thierry Henry has been named as the assistant manager of Belgium.

Henry tweeted: "Honoured to be assistant coach @BelRedDevils. Thanks to Roberto Martinez & the Royal Belgian Football Association. Very excited.Can't wait."

During his career, Henry had played for Arsenal and Barcelona clubs.
