Virat Kohli congratulates Indian team over Nidahas Trophy victory
Colombo/New Delhi, Mar 19 (IBNS): India cricket captain Virat Kohli, who was rested for the series, congratulated the Men In Blue for winning the Nidahas Trophy by beating Bangladesh in a thrilling final.
Dinesh Karthik smashed a last-ball six to win the match.
India needed five runs from the last ball of the 20 th over.
Karthik smashed a crucial innings of unbeaten 8-ball 29 runs that registered India another overseas tournament victory.
With Washington Sundar at the other end, Karthik remained calm and composed and smashed one shot after the other to power his team to victory.
Wishing the entire team, Indian captain Virat Kohli tweeted: " What a game of cricket last night, Complete team performance! Big up boys!!! Well done DK @DineshKarthik @BCCI #NidahasTrophy2018 #INDvsBAN."
