Wimbledon: Roger Federer plays cricket shot, Sachin loves it

London, July 10 (IBNS): Apart from entertaining his fans with his skillful tennis shots, Swiss Tennis legend Roger Federer also left spectators charmed with his unique cricket shot.

The shot was so much well-played by Federer that it even left cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar impressed.

" As always, great hand-eye co-ordination. @rogerfederer, let’s exchange notes on cricket and tennis after you win your 9th @Wimbledon title ," Sachin tweeted.

Even Wimbledon shared the video where Federer could be seen playing forward defence shot.

It shared the video and tweeted: " Ratings for @rogerfederer's forward defence, @ICC? #Wimbledon ."

Without dropping a set, Swiss Tennis star Roger Federer reached the next round of the ongoing Wimbledon here on Monday.

Federer cruised to the quarter-finals round of the Wimbledon by beating  France's Adrian Mannarino.

Federer won the match by defeating his opponent 6-0 7-5 6-4.

The 22 seeded looked absolutely no match to the Swiss player.

South African eighth seed Kevin Anderson will now face in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
