Pune, Oct 27 (IBNS): Outplaying India in the third One Day International (ODI) match in Pune by 43 runs, Windies leveled five-match series 1-1 on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 284, India were bowled out for 240.

Skipper Virat Kohli was the only batsman to shine in the evening for India. Kohli scored 107 runs off 119 balls.

Marlon Samuels was the best bowler for Windies. He picked three wickets for 12 in 3.4 overs.

Windies skipper Jason Holder and Obed McCoy shared two wickets each for the visiting team.

Earlier, Windies, riding on wicket-keeper batsman Shai Hope's 95-run innings, scored 283/9 in 50 overs.

Shimron Hetmyer and Holder aptly supported Hope with their respective 37 and 32 runs.

While India had won the first match in Guwahati, Hope's brilliant knock helped Windies to tie the second sporting encounter of the series in Vishakhapatnam.
