Leicester, July 8 (IBNS): In a clash with the Indian team, South Africa posted a total of 273/9 in 50 overs in the ICC Women's World Cup 2017 on Saturday.

Earlier, Indian team won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Lizelle Lee and Dane van Niekerk were the top scorers for South Africa with 92 and 57 respectively.

Indian bowlers were disciplined overall and conceded reasonable runs to the South African batters. Shikha Pandey had the best bowling figure with 3/40 in nine overs. Ekta Bisht and Harmanpreet Kaur shared couple of wickets each.
