Punjab CM sanctions Rs 380 cr to tackle possible third wave of Covid-19

Chandigarh/UNI: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Friday approved Rs 380 crore to be spent by the Health and Medical Education departments in preparing for a possible third wave of the Covid pandemic.

Lucknow/UNI: Emphasising the need for adequate medical and health care facilities to tackle the situation arising due to black fungus and a possible third wave, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked the officials to prepare post-COVID wards and PICU wards along with training to paediatricians, technicians and paramedical staff of all district hospitals.
