2 robbers die in Pakistan's Karachi city

Karachi, Jan 8 (IBNS): Two robbers, who were caught during an armed robbery attempt in Pakistan's Karachi city, have died, media reports said.

Citizens beat one of the robbers after he was caught and he later passed away in a hospital.

The other robber died in a shoot-out, media reports said.

He died during exchange of fire with security personnel.

"The robbers had killed a shopkeeper earlier over resistance during the robbery. The two were running away after stealing from one of the shops in the mobile market," Geo News reported.
