Afghan police claims Taliban pushed back from Kunduz city
Kabul, Oct 4 (IBNS): A day after the Taliban captured the strategic city of Kunduz in Afghanistan, the city police claimed that they have taken back control by pushing out the militants, media reports said.
The Khaama Press quoted provincial police chief as saying that at least 25 militants were gunned down.
The militant outfit had taken control over the city on Sunday night and blocked important parts of Kunduz.
