Kabul, May 18 (IBNS): A US drone attack in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province left an ISIS terror group leader and his seven fighters killed, media reports said on Saturday.

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in a statement said the ISIS leader Abu Zar was killed in Khogyani district on Thursday, reported Khaama Press.

The statement further added that Abu Zar was one of the most notorious leaders of the terror group who was involved in vicious activities against the local residents besides conducting other terrorist related activities including roadside bombings, reported the news agency.

The ISIS group has not commented on the matter so far.
