Bangladesh: Alleged ARSA leader found dead in Rohingya camp

Cox Bazar: Mohammad Hashim, an alleged Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) leader, has been found dead in a Rohingya camp situated in Bangladesh's Cox Bazar region.

SI Mahbubur Rahman of the Whykong Police Outpost confirmed the issue on Tuesday.

The cause of the death is still unknown.

Hafizur Rahman Chowhdury, chief of Teknaf police, told bdnews24 they are making preparations to recover the body.

Hashim is known in the camp as the ARSA ‘second-in-command’, the news portal reported.
