Bangladesh reports second Coronavirus death

Dhaka/IBNS: Bangladesh on Saturday reported its second Coronavirus infected patient's death, media reports said.

The 70-year-old was infected after coming into contact with an overseas returnee,

Health Minister Zahid Malik was quoted as saying by bdnew24.

The total number of infected people in the country now stands at 24.

Four new cases were reported in the past 24 hours.

Bangladesh reported its first death on Mar 18, ten days after reporting first infected cases on Mar 8.

COVID 19 outbreak was first reported from Wuhan region in China and now it has spread across different parts of the globe.
