Bangladesh: Under-construction wall collapse in Chittagong leaves 2 dead

Chittagong: Two construction workers were killed when an under-construction wall collapsed on them in Bangladesh city Chittagong, media reports said on Saturday.

The tragic incident took place by the Regional Election Office at Lovelane area under Kotwali police station around 12:30pm on Saturday, reports Dhaka Tribune.

The deceased were identified as Md Salauddin, 20 and Md Shukkur, 21, Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Assistant Commissioner (Kotwali Zone) Noble Chakma told the newspaper.

ASI Alauddin Talukder of the CMCH police outpost told the Dhaka Tribune that a construction worker was brought to the hospital with critical injuries and died while undergoing treatment.
